Namesco Broadband Packages

Originally 2 opposing broadband providers that merged, Namesco Limited are an ever-growing Internet Service Provider (ISP). The company is dedicated to serving their customers, both individuals at home and small to medium businesses alike.

Namesco have made a name for themselves by expanding quickly through a careful combination of acquisitions and organic growth. They are the 4th largest domain name and hosting provider in Britain, and are very proud to be ranked in the top 50 largest providers across the entire globe.

Broadband Features
Namesco can provide an award-winning broadband service to your home or business with high-speed connections and money-saving top performances.

Great value for an introduction to the Internet. Take your first steps into the digital era with the Bronze package with download speeds of 512kb and upload speeds of 256kb so that you can share content and information online yourself. This will only cost £9.32 a month with an installation cost of £35.25. Also included with this package is a monthly allowance of 1GB, as well as your choice of a wired or wireless router. Customer care support which is based in the UK is available 7 days a week. There is also a complimentary security software pack to protect your computer from viruses and spam.

With the Silver package customers will receive a download speed of 2Mbps, an upload speed of 256kb and a monthly usage limit of 1GB for only £11.02 a month. Again, customers will receive a free wireless router, a security software package to protect their computer and personal details, as well as installation completely free of charge.

The Gold package, which is Namesco’s most popular choice, allows users a download speed of up to 8Mbps, upload speeds of 448kb, and a monthly usage of 1GB. A free wireless router is included, as is free installation and a security software package to protect your home computer from viruses and spam. All of this can be yours for only £12.72 a month.

If you choose the Platinum package you will pay only £16.98 a month for download speeds of up to 2Mbps, upload speeds of 256kb, and monthly usage allowances of 1GB. A free wireless router, free installation and free security software to protect against harmful viruses and spam is included as standard.

The final pack that is on offer is the Platinum+ package, which can be yours for just £21.23 a month. You can enjoy download speeds of 8Mbps, upload speeds of 832kb and a usage allowance of 1GB every month. Additions include a free wireless router, free installation, and free security software.

Bandwidth
Every package includes a usage allowance of 1GB so that you can use your computer on a monthly Pay As You Go basis, in case you use exceed the limit. An alternative if you are sure you will need more is to purchase broadband with a Bandwidth Bundle.
Exceeding the limit will cost a further £1 per 1GB on the Bronze, Silver, Gold packages, and £1.20 for the Platinum and Platinum+ packages.

Please note that like most ISPs, the download speed that you receive will ultimately be dependent upon the area in which you are living and the distance between your home and the telephone exchange. Speeds will vary in the initial 10 days of installation but this is normal.

If a customer decides to terminate their subscription within 12 months then a cancellation fee of £60 applies. If you originally switched from another ISP then it will be reduced to £30. This fee covers the cost of your “free” wireless router & installation.

Broadband FAQs

How fast is the connection?
As with many other ISPs, the connection that you receive will depend on the area that you live in and its distance from the telephone exchange.

What can the ADSL service be used for?
Due to its higher bandwidth the ADSL service could improve access to online applications as well as internet access, intranet access, and even some TV based services such as interactive TV on-demand, films, music, internet radio, and online shopping & banking.

What are the benefits of choosing ADSL?
Choosing ADSL means that you can enjoy an average connection speed increase of 10 times faster than normal connections.
You will also always have an open online connection.
A flat rate tariff is included so that no call charges will affect your time online, and you can use your phone simultaneously to being on the Internet – something that was impossible with the old dial-up connection method.

Why aren’t I able to have an ADSL connection?
At the moment, the ADSL connection is only possible when used in conjunction with an active BT landline rental. Therefore, you will not be able to enjoy ADSL broadband without already having this line rental. If BT are not planning any upgrades in your area then unfortunately you will be unable to obtain an ADSL connection at all.

What about phone calls?
If you have only chosen a broadband package then your phone service will not be affected. However, if you have opted for a broadband & calls package then your services will be billed separately.

What is a static IP address?
This is an identifier which can be used, much like a credit card number, to pin-point your computer on the Namesco network. Your IP is allocated to you by Namesco upon completion of your purchase transaction.
