Mobile broadband provider 3 mobile has launched a new offer for its dongle users which allows them access to ‘The Times’ news content.
The offer which commences this week will allow 3 Mobile dongle users to access to all the current affairs on thetimes.co.uk and thesundaytimes.co.uk.
Both these sites provide subscription news content which usually require the user to pay for access and registration.
This three month offer is especially suitable for consumers who tend to depend on the laptop, tablet and other similar devices which require the use of an internet dongle. After the first three months, customers on pay-as-you-go offer and who top up every 30 days will continue to get access for the following month to ‘The Times’ and ‘The Sunday Times’.
Alys Mathew 3's Head of Customer Propositions for Mobile Broadband stated that this partnership between ‘The Times’ and 3 Mobile will hugely benefit on-the-go subscribers who prefer to access news online. He also believes that people increasingly prefer to find news online rather then the other traditional means.
"Our network has over 97 per cent population coverage for 3G services, so we're happy to expand the reach of The Times online readership across the country to more mobile devices." He further added.
This 3 Mobile offer will last till March 31st, 2011.
