BT has already signed up its 15 millionth customer through BT Retail, this is despite the fact that O2 and Sky, two major BT competitors use BT broadband network. On account of BT’s decision to invest in Broadband in a big way in 2002, despite being discouraged by a few parties, these results are pretty impressive.

It is time for BT to move ahead in investing in super fast broadband technology. Recently BT invested a further £2.5 billion for installing fibre optic broadband in more than two thirds of UK. With a recent announcement that more than more than 8,000 properties in Penarth would soon begin enjoying super fast broadband through the fibre optic network is yet another piece of good news of how BT is progressing.
