Orange launched its first mobile wireless broadband device for its subscribers in order to enable them to create their own WiFi hotspot.
The mobile WiFi device, Novatel Wireless 3352, has been developed by Orange so as to allow users to create their own Wi-Fi hotspot or ‘internet bubble’ using the Orange 3G network.
The ultra light, palm size network receiver works at the touch of a button creating its own broadband hotspot. This hotspot can be simultaneously shared with five WiFi gadgets like laptops, tablets, music players and game consoles. This makes the hotspot more user-friendly and easy connection to friends and relatives’ internet.
The mobile WiFi device developed by Orange will be made available with all Orange mobile broadband subscribers of Racoon and Dolphin packages. The wireless device is estimated to cost any where between £49 to £89, depending on the plan that is being chosen by the user.
The animal mobile broadband plans from Orange start from £5 a month for download speeds up to 7.2Mbps with 1GB data usage allowance.
