Orange promises subscribers price cut shift

In a bid to placate and retain their subscribers, Orange has promised their users to lower their monthly bill if prices for their packages drop in the immediate future.

The VAT hike has led to customers looking for broadband providers offering the best value for money services. In order to combat this, telecom service provider Orange is offering the Price Promise offer to all their new and existing customers signing up for either Broadband & Off-peak Calls or Broadband & Anytime Calls packages.

Vice President of Orange Home, Bruno Duarte, said: “We realise that times are financially hard for many and that several of our rivals are actually increasing the price of their service this New Year. So we want to reassure our customers that we’ll do all we can to maintain our best value offers.”

Though the monthly subscription cost will be lowered call charges and additional fee reductions will not be applied. Orange's broadband bundles include a 20Mbps broadband speed with unlimited download subject to fair usage policy. Other accompanying services include online protection and parental controls from McAfee and weekly 2-for-1 cinema tickets in Orange Wednesdays deal.
