Sony launches Google TV powered Network Media Player NSZGS7 and Blu-ray Disc Player NSZGP9 across North America and Europe Date : Thu, Jan 12, 2012 By connecting these devices with their TV through HDMI, they can enjoy watching the TV broadcast which has to be connected to set top box. The Network Media Player “NSZ-GS7” and Blu-ray Disc Player “NSZ-GP9” is equipped with a full back lit keyboard, touch pad, microphone for voice search, game compliant 3 axis motion sensor for providing the users with an intuitive experience In the initial stages, these devices will be launched in during the summer months of 2012 in Europe and North America followed by its availability across the world. These devices follow the launch of Sony products which are compatible with Google TV, the first and foremost being first HDTV in the world and Blu-ray Disc Player. Sony has plans to offer additional user enhancing products in the home entertainment segment. Keeping in mind these lines, Sony customers can expect the Network Media Player “NSZ-GS7” and Blu-ray Disc Player “NSZ-GP9” to be made compatible with BRAVIA TV and mobile devices. The Media Remote offers the customers to send to the TV through the mobile device or even send the website displayed on the TV on to their mobile devices. With the TrackID feature, users will be able to search and identify music which has been heard through TV broadcasts, streaming video and packaged media. Users can click on the Google TV icon present on the home menu of the 2012 BRAVIA TV and browse through the Android Market or Apps.
