Does XLN Secure work with any other operating antivirus or firewall software that is already on my computer?

No. XLN secure will not work with any other software already installed on your computer. You will have to remove any systems before. XLN will try and delete any operating antivirus systems when installed but it is best if you check and clear your computer first.

Which operating system does this software support?

XLN coincides with Windows 2000, XP and Vista. It does not support any other systems and can not be used for Apple Mac. 

Can I install this programme on other computers?

No. Only one licensed programme is released per registered computer so if you need to use any other addition computer with XLN Secure then you will need to contact the Support Team.

How do I install XLN Secure?

Firstly you will need to log into “My Account”, once you have received your product subscription number which will be unique to what you have purchased. Then you will be able to install the programme by following the instructions and you must double-click the package item to run the installation on Wizard. When asked you will need to enter the unique registration number from “My Account”.  You must be able to use administrator privileges on the computer you are installing the programme on to.

How do I know if the programme is installed and running correctly?

The XLN Secure icon will be displayed on your Windows system tray, which is the bottom right hand corner of you screen. The icon will change accordingly if the product is out of date or has malfunctioned so you are aware something needs to be changed.

How does Online Backup work?

The online backup will back up all the selected files you chose to backup. This could be the full system, data only or network data. The idea is that you select the files you want to back up and after the initial process all the new files that are added are compressed and sent over an internet connection to our secure data centres.
