About BroadbandMart
What we do
Most broadband comparison sites start with a deal. We start with your postcode. Our checker uses Ofcom's own coverage figures for every postcode in the UK, so you can see what homes on your street can get before anyone tries to sell you anything.
We then compare providers on the things that decide what you pay: the top speed they sell, the yearly price rise written into new contracts, how many complaints Ofcom receives about them, and whether they pay automatic compensation when things go wrong.
How we make money
Some links to providers are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the provider may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. Affiliate links are marked, and we tell you when a page contains them.
Commission never changes the coverage figures, the facts we list about providers, or the order we list them in. Providers can't pay to appear on BroadbandMart or to be ranked higher.
Who we are
BroadbandMart is run by Lanayr Ltd, a small company based in Hamilton, Scotland (company number SC689824). We started with Scottish towns, where coverage varies most from street to street, and cover the whole UK.
Keeping it up to date
Coverage figures are refreshed whenever Ofcom publishes new Connected Nations data, normally twice a year. Provider facts are checked against providers' own websites and Ofcom, and every provider page shows the date it was last checked. Offers are checked twice a week and removed when they end.
